Everywhere around is raising minimum wages except for waitresses/waiters. Even fast food jobs get paid more by the hour. If a waitress doesn’t have any customers during their shift they work for nothing! Cleaning and restocking the restaurant making it presentable for the next shift. ALL free to the owner of the establishment. This is plum ridiculous. Raising the minimum wage to at least 5.00 an hour plus tips is much better than 2.35 an hour plus tips. Most people don’t even tip the recommended 10 to 15%.
