Corvids Added To Minecraft

Corvids Added To Minecraft
Corvids- crows and ravens- are wonderful, interesting, extremely beautiful animals, and it is a shame they don't get more recognition. Some of the species are even endangered, and, like the axolotl, having it added to Minecraft would increase awareness for them- the Hawaiian crow and Mariana crow are endangered, and while the American crow is not considered endangered, it's numbers dropped 45% from the West Nile virus and continue dropping as the climate crisis goes on. Many different types of people play Minecraft, and while some may not take action, it would at least bring attention the types of corvids that are out there- having corvids in the game could be educational to youth!- and the types of corvids that are in danger.
Furthermore, there are not enough birds in Minecraft- there are parrots and chickens, and while those are very cute- there needs to be wider variety. The corvid- crow- family has over 133 species in it, all of which could add to both the aesthetic and mechanic gameplay.
Personally, having ravens that can carry books and quills to other players in game, or having crows perch on your shoulder, or having a magpie swoop down and attack you, or having a corvid bring you objects in it's beak as gifts like foxes do in game- I believe that would really add to gameplay.
Having a wide variety of animals like that would not only make the game look better and aesthetically pleasing, it would give pet-collectors a wider variety of pets, and give those that want to play the game all the more options to do so.
Plus, as it currently stands, there are only two birds in Minecraft- parrots and chickens. Parrots are cutesy pets that dance to music, perch on shoulders, and can be killed to retrieve feathers and chickens are farm animals.
To be able to look up and see many birds flying through the skies of Minecraft- that would be an amazing sight. And all we need is a lot of signatures and support to make Mojang cave- so I urge you to do so.
