Purpose: To petition the Minco School Board and Administration to extend Coach Brummell’s coaching contract and all extra coaching duties for school year 2022-2023.  Coach Brummell has been an educator and coach for 28 years, with 22 of those years solely dedicated to the Minco School District.  

Coach Brummell has coached and taught multiple generations of young women and has had back to back winning seasons, being ranked in the top 20 basketball teams in the State for Class 2A.  Coach Brummell has an impeccable character as a coach, having no disciplinary action related to the reasons provided for termination of duties by the School Board and Administration.

Coach Brummell has worked, lived, and raised her family in the Minco School District.  She has one son who graduated from Minco High School and another son completing 8th grade.  Coach Brummell’s peers within the district and around the state admire, respect, and hold her in high esteem as one of Oklahoma’s top coaching talents.

Action: We urge the board to extend Coach Brummell’s contract and allow her to continue to positively impact the lives of students and athletes in the Minco School District.  By signing this petition I plead with the Minco School Board and Administration to extend all of Coach Brummell’s extra coaching duties.
