Non-binary and other trans students who don't feel comfortable or safe using gendered bathrooms are being forced into unfomfortable situations or situations that would worsen their gender-dysphoria. The change that needs to happen for these students is for gender-neutral, single-person, bathrooms to be implemented into the Reagan building. This petition will raise the concern to the school administrators and we will argue for this change to be made. If these changes are not implemented it will make it very clear that the Reagan administrators do not value the safety and mental health of their students, alienating LGBTQ+ students. The implementation of this bathroom would also entail providing period products for every bathroom.
