Jason Kidd has been Milwaukee's head coach for 3 full seasons. Heading into his 4th season as Milwaukee's head coach, many Bucks fans were skeptical about his defensive schemes, rotations, and lack of ball movement on offense. Despite the skepticism, Kidd's close relationship with the ownership group and rise of Giannis Antetokounmpo has seemingly secured his job for the near future. With the front office forming a solid core around Giannis, along with Giannis emerging as an MVP candidate, there is no excuse for this team to lose to tanking teams such as the Dallas Mavericks. However, the Bucks have suffered an embarrassing loss on Saturday night in Dallas, mainly due to their defense collapsing against Dallas's three point threat. This loss could've easily been avoided if Kidd's defensive scheme did not exist, as the Bucks roster is talented enough on defense to keep ANY opposing team from shooting 40%> from beyond the arc. Sure, the Bucks are 8-7 currently, 4-1 after the acquisition of Eric Bledsoe, but it is unacceptable for this team to not even put up a fight against a team that is trying to lose. We can no longer tell ourselves that the Bucks should keep Kidd because he "developed Giannis" *sean sweeney did*, and that the team has made the playoffs twice the past three seasons. We have to keep this team moving, and the goal should be to reach the ECF this season. There is no hope in us achieving that goal with Jason Kidd as the head coach. Fire Kidd.
