Greetings Memphians!

My name is Autumn and reside in the Northern-Memphis area! I’m not sure if many of you have heard or not, but developers have a lot of construction plans in the works for the Millington area which are said to include possibly an ALDI’s, shopping centers, restaurants, etc. As great as that sounds, something’s missing! Can you guess what that is? A Target! Of all regions in Memphis, Millington is the last area to have received one and many Millington and Tipton County residents often have to drive 35-45 minutes to reach the nearest one. Bringing a Target to Millington would not only help the local economy by bringing new jobs, but it would also help save on gas costs and in return, residents would not have to drive as far and pollute as frequently! After speaking with a member of Target’s corporate office, if we can create a strong enough petition, this dream could become a reality! Millington has so much potential and adding a Target would be such an incredible addition to this historical community!
