Mill Valley: Say "NO" to a $250,000 single stall public restroom!

We, the undersigned request that you cease planning for a $250,000 rest room in Sycamore Park and explore more affordable, sensible building methods, such as community built. For a bit of perspective, please take a look at this 2016 article - "House-hunting USA: What $250,000 buys you in 25 cities"

What is community built? Community built methods take the community's wants and needs into consideration before plans are made to build something.

This is a small, local park. If the neighborhood wants the restroom facility, then they can gather volunteers, guided by a professional designer/builder and/or raise funding to build it. Community built methods can produce a restroom facility for a fraction of the cost of this currently proposed restroom ($10 - 20,000.)
