Why this petition matters
NXNW has had issues with our mailroom for well over a year now, in response to this management has decided to employ Fetch, one of the worst rated mail services available, to make this issue worse for residents and easier for management to push to the side. Fetch is a notoriously bad company that people are willing to move out to avoid, instead of having your time-sensitive packages delivered to your home the service instead sends them to a warehouse where they sit for an extra 48 hours as food goes bad, packages get stolen, and absolutely no oversight is present. This solution was not "well researched" as management phrased it, because a cursory web search immediately brings up just how poorly this service functions at other properties. On top of all this, management intends to CHARGE us for a service that doesn't work.
In response, we are asking that management DOES NOT employ Fetch. We will not sign up for this service, and we will not be paying additional fees for packages to be late or spoiled. We already pay an exorbitant amount of rent that should be able to cover a mail team, lockers, or any other solution that would actually work.
We love this building, and we love this community. Individuals who have lived here for years are already considering moving away because of Fetch. We want management to work with us, not against us to fix this. We are aware this decision likely comes from Mill Creek and not NXNW's main management team, but it is still an unacceptable burden and NOT a solution.
