Starting in March 2020, City Council and the Mayor shut down restaurants in Philadelphia due to Covid -19 spread. They limited us to take out and delivery only. This took a toll on our restaurant and restaurants throughout the city. Thankfully, they passed a bill temporarily allowing restaurants the ability to have outside dining . This saved us and many other restaurants in the city. We were very fortunate to not have to lay any employees off. This is very important to us. Since then, City Council passed another bill allowing restaurants to keep their sidewalk and streetery dining , however in many neighborhoods, they were not included in the bill. Our streetery takes up 2 parking spaces. We understand parking is a hot button here in South Philly and beyond. However ; exchanging a few spots for the lively hood of 7 team members seems like an easy choice ! Plus our immediate neighbors love it! If you want to support us . Please sign this petition!
