NPS 17 Minute Walkout to Protest Congress' Views and Remember Victims of School Shootings

On March 14, 2018, there will be a national school walk out for seventeen minutes, in order to remember the seventeen victims of the Parkland shooting. It's also to protest the call for more guns our government has put in order. Wearing orange on that day helps too, even if you don't want to participate in the protest!
Since Sandy Hook, there have been over one thousand mass shootings in this country. Congress has done nothing because the National Rifle Association donates millions of dollars to our government. Teachers, students, and parents all live in fear that bullets will be shot within the school at any time. Since security of schools is down, peaceful protesting can be used to attempt and change gun laws. Since our leaders act like children, us children can be the leaders!
