Nate Bullman started this petition to Governor Michael L. Parson

It has become abundantly clear that Randall Williams has proven himself incompetent to oversee our Medical Marijuana program in Missouri. Mr. Fraker, the head of our MMJ program, could not answer even the simplest of questions during his testimony before Missouri lawmakers regarding the commercial scoring process. All of the important questions were directed up to Randall Williams who used reefer madness style statistics out of context, such as Marijuana "addiction", to justify decisions made by the department to restrict access to licenses.

In the 15 months or so since Amendment 2 became law patients have been harassed, had their medicine confiscated by law enforcement officers and some have been arrested and incarcerated. It took DHSS 7 months after we started issuing cards to issue a letter about possession, reaffirming only what activists have been telling patients since the beginning "We can possess now, despite where we got it". Every patient arrested or harassed, every parent that lost a child because they were MMJ patients, every child expelled from school for being a patient falls directly at the feet of the people that run this program.

Patient education has been a joke. Law enforcement education has been a joke. Both of these lay at the feet of DHSS. I cannot and will not support future initiatives that plan to let him lead our program. One doesn't know anything and the other is a borderline prohibitionist.

DHSS Has been in charge of our program, protecting patients and selecting the scoring process for commercial cultivators. They showed gross negligence in vetting potential vendors and applicants allowing for conflicts of interests to taint the process. In Williams' hearing he made it perfectly clear that he was the one making these decisions and I have no faith left that this man should be in charge of protecting patient rights or ensuring a smooth roll out of our program.

I am asking you to help me send a message to the state and DHSS that we will not tolerate any more mishaps with this program, a program relied on by sick Missourians that need access to clean, affordable medicine.
