William Draper started this petition to Governor Michael L. Parson and

I dont believe the law is harsh enough to encourage people to stop for a bus that is loading or unloading children. I would like to encourage law makers to make it a $2,000 fine, loss of license for 6 months and a class A misdemeanor for a first offense. $4,000 fine, loss of license for 1 year and a felony for a second offense as well as jail time. Any more than two offenses should be a class A Felony and should be treated as a repeat offender with a minimum of 5 years in prison. Also I would like law makers to make it a requirement to put cameras on the stop sign that folds out so if someone does break this law it will snap a picture of said offender. Our children are the future of this great nation and should be protected as such.
