Voice to Penndot, we do not want an interchange with Adams Road

In Upper Macungie Township, a interchange for Adams Road with I-78 is proposed and trying to be pushed through Penndot for funding. It is proposed under the guise of reducing truck traffic on area roads. This is not only untrue but the opposite will happen if this interchange is built. It will open up more properties, who coincidentally are owned by the area developer who keeps pushing for this, for even more development, which will make more warehouses, and much more truck traffic. This proposal will have a serious detrimental impact on our community, all just so the developers, the big businesses, and even the township itself can profit all at the expense of your tax paying money. By signing this petition, which will be forwarded to the PA Dept of Transportation, we are saying we do not want this, and we do not want Penndot to fund this.
