On June 30th Mike DeWine signed a bill that allows medical professionals to refuse medical care to people that they don’t agree with on a religious, moral or ethical basis. Despite his beliefs that we won’t be affected, POC, LGBTQ2S, and those who practice non-Christian religions will be disproportionately affected by this law.

In the past, our court system has twisted laws to favor those who would willingly deny the above people medical care. We’ve seen it happen time and time again. Our laws often protect the acts of those who would rather let us suffer than show compassion. This needs to be put to a stop.

Might I add that our government is separate from church, yet it continues to pass laws that favor religious freedom over the lives of regular people. This law is quite literally unconstitutional.

All we want is to live our lives in peace, yet we have to fight every step of the way. Please sign and spread awareness to bring an end to this type of discrimination.
