Find a larger venue for CCP Graduation 2013

Students have committed 4+ years of their lives towards their pharmacy education, contributing to campus organizations and the profession, and most important of all, their families have many times supported and made sacrifices for this opportunity.
Students have paid their dues amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and should be able to have ALL of their family present for one of the most important days of their life. Students should not have to choose between brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and husbands and wives in joining them in celebrating this special day to witness their loved one walk across the stage all because the university did not plan for space accordingly for the 200+ graduates and their families by hosting this years graduation in a lecture hall. At first alloting 5 tickets was a shock and hard enough to distribute, even among immediate family, but then cutting it down to only 4 tickets per student after many had already notified family of the 5, puts your students in a less than favorable position by forcing them to uninvite loved ones.
It is surprising that the University can book and invest in a convention center to honor incoming students during their White Coat ceremony, but cannot invest the same into honoring each of their graduates and their families this year.
Students and loved ones, please sign this petition, so that students at Midwestern University CCP and ALL of their families have the opportunity to be together in one place, celebrating this momentous occasion. It is sad that much of our family will not be allowed to attend graduation. Please reconsider the venue where you will be hosting this event.
