Dear City council and the Mayor,

My name is Frank McClain CEO of Breaking The Cycle where we help transform the hearts, minds, and life's in our community. This petition is in concern of the Community Advisory Board and Cal Wills.

Cal Wills has been a pillar of hope and motivation in our community. He's currently a Drug and dependency counselor at Lebanon correctional institution. He's been recognize by the  MLK GALA for his outstanding commitment to help people in our community. He was a key  organizer in Restoring Hope Flint Michigan water drive. Where we as a community took a semi truck full of water and supplies to Flint Cal drove the van.

From help creating a Mentor Program at Marshall High School, to give children rides to our Master Minds Chess Club. Facilitating groups for the young men at juvenile detention center, and juvenile rehabilitation center in Hamilton Ohio. And for 5 years running every Christmas organizes presents for incarcerated children that parents are incarcerated or in need. And finally he help create ENOUGH IS ENOUGH  where Chief Rodney Muterspaw seen the commitment and passion in Cal Wills to his community and wanted the Middletown Police Department to come together to help save life's in our community. We the community feel Cal will uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity that the Community Advisory Board is in seek of

Police Chief Birk  has took it upon himself to deny Cal Wills that right. Our concern as a community is you can't be allowed to pick and choose who's going to hold your department accountable. That is a blatant conflict of interest. How does the community trust the board when the BOSS hand picked them?

Our hopes as a community is the City council and the mayor take the appropriate actions to rectify the disservice that is being done to him and our community. Transparency and accountability is a core principal any institution in our community must have. Especially the Middletown Police department. We are asking for the full weight City Council and the Mayor's office are brought to this matter as soon possible. We thank you for your time and consideration

              Sincerely,     We the Community
