Stop proposed expansion of the Rocky Hill Coal Project
This petition had 637 supporters
Residents living near a proposed open cut coal mine near the Gloucester township say there lives could be ruined if the proposed expansion of the Rocky Hill coal mine goes ahead. GRL plans to mine up to 2 million tonnes of coal per year from the mine. This has the potential to severely affect the air and water quality in the valley.
Local resident has said:
"This is cruel, how people's lives are being destroyed, and your processes, whoever the company is, it's your processes that are at fault. How much longer can a community like Gloucester deal with this?"
Help stop the expansion !!
