Petition to have name corrected from Killeen to the original correct name off KILLEN

Hi all, I am the current chairman of Killen community residents group, we where established in April 2021 and is made up of 12+ volunteers. This petition has been created due to the name being changed to Killeen. Mid Ulster Council has confirmed it was always spelt Killeen however we the residents of Killen dispute this. I have lived in Killen for 34+ years and have always known the spelling as Killen. It's on our loved ones headstones, birth records, legal documents such as driving licence and for a long time was shown on Ulster Bus 80c which had been in service years. We call on mid ulster Council to correct the signage and give us back the original name. A quick search of Google shows Killen crossroad and other places within the area spelt correctly as Killen. Someone has made an error which is having an impact on the residents. We will stand together and act together to have this situation resolved
