Companies like EA are taking steps to add TV-like advertisements to their console games. This may not seem like a big deal if you're not playing EA games, but if this gets accepted into EA games it's only a matter of time before it spreads to everything else in console gaming... This would completely destroy immersion and ruin enjoying the break from a stressful life that gamers value and turn to. EA has been known in the past to try to make the absolute most money out of their customers. And now they have to include ads aswell for a game you bought... Is the $60 that you spent to pay for that game and what money you may spend on the in-game microtranactions not enough for them?? Companies nowadays have been testing how users will react to ads and other methods to use your attention for their benefit. It's really sickening to me that companies like this are so shamelessly greed...
