The word "Victress" receives the squiggly red line of a bad or misspelled word when it is typed into Microsoft applications, Twitter and Facebook to name just a few.  Even as I type now on the change.org website, there it is, devaluing the word. A victress is a female who is victorious. It is the gender balance to the word victor, which doesn't receive the red squiggly line. I want the word victress to be given its rightful place on our screens, and without us having to add it to our online dictionary. There is no dispute. It is a word. Its in the Oxford English Dictionary. Please help give girls and women a small but significant win in our fight for gender equality. Thank you.
