People donate to species' at risk around the world, giving support to one species at a time, but that means that a lot of the time, the species' that support that one species don't get the support they need. This is counterproductive, that one species isn't self sufficient, it needs animals all throughout its ecosystem, and is just a part of the web that makes up their ecosystem. People need to donate to ecosystems instead, protecting all the species' in the area to make sure the web stays strong in all regards. This petition is to Microsoft to get Mojang Studios to add Orcas, Bluefin Tuna, Mayflies and Eelgrass into Minecraft. Minecraft is the most popular game in the world right now, with hundreds of millions of monthly players world wide, and getting this message into the game, will spread it to people who would not have seen it otherwise. Why these animals? Because they fit together, Orcas and Tuna are both top predators of the ocean, and both Bluefin Tuna and Resident Orcas rely on Salmon. That is where mayflies and Eelgrass come in, Mayflies are one of the Primary food sources of juvenile Salmon, but also filter water and help decompose biomass. Eelgrass, provides shelter and food for Salmon while they transition from rivers to the open ocean, and do the same for many other creatures. If this is put into Minecraft, with a few special effects when these species' work together in an environment, it could get people looking into what these amazing species' do and what other things they are connected too, to support environments not species' to support all the species' not just one.
