I'm signing this because, as stated in the petition, I feel that local co-op and multiplayer was one of the few reasons as to why I still held this torch.

A fantastic storyline and a universe rich with all the sci-fi cultures I had come I know and love. Not so much anymore. The flame for the torch first started to die out when the "Covenant Separatist" came in as a cheap excuse for an enemy. Then the story just continued to peter out gradually.

Slowly the gameplay changed as Halo tried to find its niche in the world of first person shooters. What would set it apart from games like Call of Duty or Battlefield? Not much apparently. They all sort of just bleed into one now. The only things that matters now is preference.

The preference has shifted now. Will I convince my friend's who own a PlayStation 4 to buy an Xbox One, Halo 5, and Xbox Live? Or the friend's who own an Xbox One and Call of Duty to pick up Halo 5? Why bother?

We're all sitting around playing our favorite games, in person with one another. Them what? Let's all be antisocial and go home to play online.

I don't think the reason for this lack of local play is graphics (although the lack thereof does give them this opportunity to up the visuals). It's money. Make us all buy our own copies of the game. Sadly, as with all genre we love, they always turn from their followers if they think it'll get them more money.

But then again, I don't have any sort of game developing company. So perhaps I shouldn't complain about them doing what they can for money. I'm sure keeping a company afloat isn't cheap.

But I wash my hands of this sorrow. I found this out today and it made me set Halo 5 back on the GaneStop shelf. I'll not be buying it till the co-op is added and maybe the price drops down. I don't think it's worth the $40 price anymore.

I have 3 other siblings who like halo and now that halo 5 is out I got it and turns out it has no split screen! I need to play with my siblings so we can have the joy of playing halo together!

My friend and I have played through the entire Halo series in split screen campaign. We can't afford two copies and using separate consoles loses the aspect of company whilst playing. The game just isn't the same without it.

The main reason I enjoy halo is my brother and I can play split screen campaign and online. I have halo 5 but still play the master chief collection because of the lack of split screen on halo 5.

I want games for my Xbox One that I can play with my son. Huge Disapointment! If I had researched the game a little before buying it, we would not have purchased it.

I would buy the new system for halo 5 if it had local co-op.
