Emergency housing for vets, people with disabilities and the homeless

Two years ago January, my daughter had a double brain aneurysm and a stroke. She is paralyzed on the left side of her body. She has three beautiful children. They all live with me. We have had one thing after another happen to us. Mostly concerning a home. I have health issues and the stress of this happening has worn me down. I am the major bread winner. To make a long story shot we are about to be homeless. How does this happen? There is no emergency housing, and trying to get assistance is impossible. There are two-year waiting list for any affordable housing, and wheelchair accessible,,! Forget it! I am pretty sure that we are not the only ones going through a similar situation! Time to stand up for the ones who cannot stand up for themselves!
