Stephanie Korfel started this petition to Michigan legislative council chair and
Michigan Register Dental Hygienist have yet to be allowed to take a Botox certification class. Currently, Register Nurses and higher are allowed to take the certification in Michigan. As an RDH we should be allowed to take any additional courses that allow us to expand our duties to our patients. Appropriate training will be necessary and under the supervision of a dentist with the same qualifications. This will allow us to open new avenues and doors while helping those in need! Let’s expand our skills and education!
