Deny convicted child abuser Rachel Edwards parole

My son Wyatt was shaken at the age of 1 by my ex-husband's girlfriend Rachel Edwards on November 1, 2013. He suffered a major brain bleed, fractured skull, fractured ribs, and bilateral retinal hemorrhages. Wyatt was on life support for several days, but by the grace of God he survived his injuries. He has permanent brain damage and permanent blindness in his left that he has to live with the rest of his life. He has had 4 brain surgeries and 2 eye surgeries since being shaken. Rachel Ann Edwards pleaded no contest to 2nd degree child abuse in Feb 2015 and was sentenced to 33 months to 10 years behind bars. She was first eligible in March of 2017. We had the first parole hearing last summer and I found out she was denied this past December. Now she is unfortunately up again for March of 2018. The parole process starts months before this date, so I (Wyatt's mother) am slated to address the parole board in Lansing, Michigan on Thursday August 10th, 2017. Ms. Edwards will receive her hearing in November of this year. Rachel Edwards had been convicted of child abuse twice before on another child, before she almost killed my son.  She deserves the max sentence of 10 years. Wyatt struggles everyday because of what she did. I ask that the parole board please deny her parole. She is a danger to society. To read more information about Wyatt's Story, Google "Wyatt's Law".
