Noah A started this petition to Michigan Athletics and

As most of you are aware, our Michigan football team has made it to the final four and into the Orange Bowl. The University of Michigan was able to give 1000 tickets to students who had the highest amount of priority points. However, there are many students who use this opportunity to turn around and sell their tickets to make a profit. I believe that the University of Michigan Athletics Office should make these tickets non-transferable to take away the market value of these tickets. This would allow only the students who desire to go to big games like the Orange Bowl and possibly the National Championship without having to worry about students charging 4 times the price at what they have paid. It is ashamed that our students take advantage of their peers for money and I believe this has to end. I was personally really excited to go to this game and thought that I would get a ticket. After seeing that the tickets were fulfilled and many students turning around to sell for 500+ dollars, I was really upset. If you support me and this movement, please sign the petition and email ath-mtickets@umich.edu to express your concern.
