The suburbs of Hamilton Hill, Spearwood and Success have the highest crime rate in Cockburn and it's getting worse.

Since the Spearwood Police Station closed crime in Spearwood has increased with drug offences increasing by 77% in the past year alone. Spearwood has featured in the news for the past three weeks in a row, with drug busts, burglaries and shootings making the news.

The Labour government made Cockburn Police Station a 24/7 station when it came into power but this has taken valuable Police resources off the beat and put them behind counters.

The residents of Cockburn would like Cockburn Police Station to revert back to extended business hours which will free up two additional officers to patrol the streets at night.
