Reading logs are so stressful, our teachers say that we need to log our reading so we can pass our reading test but in order to pass a reading test you have to read, not log it. Plus what is logging your reading going to help you with in the future anyway. Reading logs suck they are basically for no reason. They won't help you with becoming a doctor or a firefighter, I mean yeah you have to write a thing down but not a random book you read. Reading logs should be extinct. Teachers don't really care about us doing our reading logs wasting our time because they don't have to do it so why should they care, oh right they shouldn't. They have lives and so do we on top of all the work they have to do they don't want to take an extra 3mins out of there time to log what they read, so if they don't why do they think we want to. and another thing I hate about reading logs when your Chromebook messes up and it deletes your logs and any history that you even did anything the teachers call you over and say "Why didn't you complete your reading log, this is unacceptable 15min detention" or when they call your parents, like come on its not that serious. And Johannes Gutenberg just had to create books, he thought it was a good thing but he didn't know how much pain it could cause lots of students. Over 10million children in just the city of New York hate reading and I believe that they all get in trouble almost every day for not reading. People need to understand that different things aren't good for certain people like me I HATE READING, but so what its what the teachers say, but why should we even listen to the teachers we barely know them, How old are they? What's their favorite food?  Nobody knows so if you sign this petition you are helping me make a change.
