A vote of no confidence in Argyll and Bute councillors

Argyll and Bute councillors have repeatedly ignored the wishes of the people of Helensburgh.  They have poorly run the CHORD regeneration project costing local businesses thousands of pounds.  They have not taken sufficient steps to chase up factors in default of duty over building repairs.  They do not fund public events in the town but do in other areas of Argyll and Bute.  They had a massive overspend on the new council offices.  The new waterfront development project doesn’t even include a regeneration of the pier.  Their current road repair program is another temporary lick and stick will will crumble out of the existing pot holes by autumn again.

what is needed is the local authorities to take responsibility for the issues they seem to blissfully ignore.  The council needs new blood that actually has an interest in Helensburgh as we as the rest of Argyll and Bute.  The local authorities need to be ready to answer why they have slide lined the town nearly every time public money is mentioned.
