Orange Village has plans to move the boundary line of Mooney & Sons located at 27000 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, OH. This family owned and operated business was established around 1970 (by a still living World War II veteran) and had been zoned under Ordinance # 1964-44 Section b U-4 serving the cities of Beachwood and Orange Village for the past 40+ years. If this Ordinance is passed and the zoning is changed solely to Orange Village, it will negatively impact Mooney & Sons business to the point where they will have to shut down and move. This is the last remaining service station of it's kind. This establishment is one of the oldest businesses in both Orange Village and Beachwood and represents 3 generations of Mooney's, a honest hard working family. This family run business has helped provide services to their local community and beyond. 

     By signing this petition we the undersigned, respectfully ask that Orange Village City Council to consider the historic value of Mooney & Sons located at 27000 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, OH 44122 and reject Ordinance # 2018-45, that would permanently adjust the boundary line of Mooney & Sons out of Beachwood, OH.
