Remove "Up the Skirt: Thongs Revealed" from Directv's lineup

The description of "Up the Skirt: Thongs Revealed" says "Long legs and short skirts make us want to peek underneath to see if she is wearing any panties. This collection of candid up the skirt clips features all kinds of revealing shots."
These "candid" clips have a more fitting name-"creepshots." Creepshots are nonconsensual, sexualized images of a woman's body.
By airing this type of programming, Directv is sending a message that it is okay to film and/or photograph a person without their consent, to violate their privacy and personal space in the process, and to then profit from it. This sort of programming encourages rape culture.

Letter to
CEO, Directv Michael White
Directv Board of Directors
Remove "Up the Skirt: Thongs Revealed" from Directv's lineup.
The "candid" shots featured in this pay-per-view program are better known as creepshots: nonconsensual, sexualized photographs/film of another person (typically a woman.)
By airing this type of programming, Directv is sending a message that it is okay to film and/or photograph a person without their consent, to violate their privacy and personal space in the process, and to then profit from it. This sort of programming encourages rape culture. Even if the consent of the people in this particular program was asked for and received, the message is the same, especially when it is advertised as "candid." Therefore, Directv should remove "Up the Skirt" and similar programming from its lineup.
