The Coronavirus is upon us, as of now, there is no cure and the best remedy is prevention. The CDC is advising against large gatherings, yet, the city of Miami and its mayor is putting profits ahead of the safety of the people and plans to allow thefestivalas scheduled. The festival needs to be cancelled to help the containment of a possible pandemic.

Yes some people may say that just don't go or if you're sick not to go. Truth is, even if you don't go, if it is spread at the festival, it will definitely affect our livelihood. Our local TSA agents, taxi drivers, hotel workers and many other service members of our community will be in contact with everyone coming from different affected places. 

It is time that we put our people's wellbeing first.
