The rising numbers of covid cases are alarming. As of December 24 the daily cases of Covid-19 grew from 4,000 to 8,000. Many teachers and students who have just returned from winter break have been experiencing symptom of the virus. With that being said, many parents are opting on not taking their kids to school which is causing them to get absences. To protect our kids and faculty we should shut down schools for the time being and wait for the number of covid cases to slow down.
