Alejandra Alcala started this petition to Director of Miami Dade County Parks Maria I. Nardi

This petition is simple. Ultra Music Festival will bring millions of people to the city of Miami March 20-22. Right now the world is dealing with a Virus that is spreading more and more every single day.

When the news about the Coronavirus started, was only in China. Now, is everywhere, and more closer to the USA than ever. Has a human, I feel the responsibility to protect my health, but also the health of millions of people that live not only in Miami, but in Florida.

This speech from Mayor Francis Suarez about Ultra Music Festival; "What makes Ultra different is it is an event that brings people from across the world," Suarez said. "If you are sick, we ask you to stay home and we ask you to limit your person-to-person exposure." Suarez said the city has been meeting with Ultra organizers and want them to update their safety plan for the event, but otherwise the city will be following CDC recommendations for mass events.

Are you kidding? This Negligence! From the Mayor and the CDC ( Center Of Disease Control) is unbelievable! I can’t believe that something so obvious and actually Mr. Suarez said it! “What makes Ultra different is it is an event that brings people from across the world," they want to keep doing this massive event that will bring millions of people outside the US.

If you agree with me, I’ll appreciate not only your support, but that you are thinking about your health and people’s health too. Your community matters, and I’m fighting for Seniors that don’t have the access so easily to information and no one is taking in consideration that the most affected by this virus are them.

Thank you for reading and hopefully we will make a change together.
