Minarets Highschool, O’Neals CA. 

I enjoy being here a lot, but there are several problems I’ve encountered, but this is just one of them. Every morning students are standing out in the cold, or even out in the benches outside. It’s rained, and snowed, etc. But I feel as if the doors shouldn’t be “shut” until the bell rings. If the students are cold, why not give them what they want and open the doors for them to stay warm? I understand that we’re in our classes for 1-2 hours on end, but it’s FREEZING in the mornings, and we’re woken up at an unnatural time, just to stay outside and wait 30+ minutes for a bell to ring!! 

When I was here at the start of the year, the doors were opened, and we were invited into the buildings, yet suddenly, out of the blue, we were being kicked right out. It makes absolutely no sense! Even in the “600” building, they put up PAPERS saying “No Soliciting in the halls, Eat outside” or whatever it said, and it was MIND BOGGLING. Why can’t we just be inside?! There’s no where to go outside, it’s all just cement and grass. No big trees to be at, just flat land. It’s so boring.
