In a recent conversation with Slasher Radio, Stephen Chiodo (director of the original KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE) of The Chiodo Brothers boasted about all these ideas for a sequel and attempts at reviving the title with a sequel. After over 3 decades of attempts and countless movie, TV and even VR video game deals being made then falling apart, this project continues to die on the desk of MGM Studios due to low box office sales from the 80's, completely disregarding the insane amount of public admiration and this being the pure definition of a true CULT CLASSIC.

How many remakes have we seen handed over to a new team for a cash grab that ruins the integrity of the franchise/original? We have an opportunity to have the ORIGINAL creator head the ship of his own passion project and continue his original vision without having to worry about the authenticity being thrown aside! Let's show MGM they're WRONG and us TURE HORROR FANS take care of and support our own!
