Support a NASCAR speedway in the NY/NJ metropolitan area

Metropolitan Motorsports has proposed the development of a major speedway in the New York City metropolitan area.  This speedway would be 1.50 miles in length with 24-degree banking, a grandstand capacity of 110,000, 10,000 club seats and 100 corporate suites.

Unfortunately, we motorsports fans will not be able to enjoy our sport in a premier venue because local politicians who decide what you and we get to see and enjoy in sports, think baseball and football are the only sports that attract fans.  Straight up, these politicians believe there simply aren’t many motorsport fans in the New York City metropolitan area.  If we want a state-of-the-art, high-banked speedway in the financial, media, marketing and entertainment capital of the world we motorsports fans (and our friends in the building and construction trades) need to show the politicians that their thinking is wrong – especially about a project that would generate over 8,000 union construction jobs, contribute millions annually to local charities, civic and religious organizations and a have greater economic impact than any football or baseball team.

Please support the development of this major speedway in the New York City metropolitan area.  Politicians listen to numbers.  Support this petition by entering your name and city where you reside (politicians pay more attention when they know they’re hearing from a constituent).  Join this campaign and help show the politicians that we have the numbers on our side.
