Murders by Stephen Port of Anthony Walgate, Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth, and Jack Taylor.

The errors made in the Metropolitan Police's investigation into Anthony Walgate's death prevented Port being identified as early as would've been possible, and allowed Port to kill three more young men.

This is not the first or only debacle that has featured serious and systemic failures within the Metropolitan Police's response to crimes involving members of minority groups.

As Commissioner of Police, and therefore ultimately responsible for the running of the service, Cressida Dick should resign, and the individual officers who screwed up should be disciplined to the fullest extent, up to and including dismissal and prosecution.
