Devastating natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and wildfires are all direct effects of climate change. Because of the current pandemic we are all experiencing, it is important for us to use disposable products. However, these products are only feeding the growing climate issues, especially when these products are made of plastic. In the Methodist University dining hall, all of our food is being packaged in plastic products for our safety. The amount of plastic we are going through on campus is only adding to the climate issues we are experiencing. Help me make a difference by petitioning for Methodist University to switch from plastic products to recyclable products. Together, we can help make a difference in our community.
