The current methacton "Warrior" Mascot is an incredibly racist stereotype of an indigenous american. This charicature as well as the accompanying statues and logos surrounding it paint a horribly discriminatory idea of what it means to be in the Methacton family. This needs fixing, thats why today I am here to suggest a much better, racially inclusive option, Fisty! Fisty is a classic americana take on the iconic racial injustice fist, originally used by the racial justice group, "The Black Panthers". This incredible mascot would vastly improve the marketing and branding of the Methacton school district, and an even better improvement would be to replace the classic methacton "M" with the black power fist! Black lives matter!
