This is a very close family that lost their Husband/Father suddenly in April 2012. This has torn their world apart and is incredibly hard for them dealing with the grieving process let alone anything else. Today Lisa received a letter serving her a Notice to Quit their home and find somewhere else to live. Lisa and her children Danielle aged 19, Craig aged 16 and Callum aged 10 have lived in this family home for the last 20yrs and it holds lots of precious memories for them of their beloved Husband/Dad. We are not asking for charity, we would simply like to ask you for your support in raising as much awareness as we can about this situation, so that we can be in a position to show Merton Council that Lisa and her children deserve to stay in her family and marital home. Lisa is prepared to either take over her husbands service tenancy as she is also a LBM employee or pay rent.......the children are all in full-time education locally. Lisa needs the children to have some sort of normality as this has obviously turned their worlds upside down. By keeping them in the house it saves Merton over £20,000 in wages.
Stop the Notice to Quit on a Family/Marital home
It is important as the family have less than 3 months ago had their life turned upside down by the sudden death of their Husband/Father and could now also lose their home.
