Meredith College is actively endangering the lives of every student on campus by removing the mask mandate.  This petition represents the student body's fundamental disagreement with this change in policy. 

Wearing a mask is a simple solution to an extremely deadly virus. More people have died every week due to covid, than died in the entirety of 911. The severity of this situation cannot be over emphasized. We are living through a global pandemic. This situation should be taken as seriously as it was 2 years ago. This level of apathy towards the upheaval that covid has been to every person in the world is disgraceful. 

 This is not what Staying Strong looks like. I think it is high time we protect the Sisterhood and mask up.
