Saturday September 18th is the set date for our long awaited White Coat Ceremony as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. This event is highly anticipated  since we did not have a graduation due to Covid-19. So naturally this is an event we want to share with our loved ones. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, vaccination requirements are limiting the individuals we would like to attend.

All other events and ceremonies that have happened throughout New York State have either required proof of vaccination or a negative covid-19 test within 72 hours. We are asking Mercy College to at least offer an alternative so our loved ones can attend.

We have worked long and hard for this moment to be celebrated as professionals. This is a once in a lifetime event. The pandemic has brought many of us pain and suffering. We only want to have a moment of happiness and to share with our family and friends our accomplishments.
