The mail at the Merced County Jail has been backed up for weeks at ends since as far as I can remember The mail clerk has continuously been either not delivering such mail and so therefore he has to be replaced.Or start doing he's job.It shouldn't take inmates 14 days to receive a 3-4 day delivery material. Books, letters, Holiday cards. It's so backed up that they receive Halloween cards in November So what They will receive Thanksgiving cards in December . This gots to stop. Not only for those who have to receive some bad news from home are delayed such news by two weeks. But those with good news are also delayed. Not only that The in house mail "which is Inmate to inmate" makes it in 3-4 days gets delivered perfectly fine.
