Due to the pandemic, the number of people suffering from mental health is on the rise. Drug usage and Depression has increased since lockdown started. Suicide rates have skyrocketed since the beginning on the pandemic. It hits hardest on low-income communities, and because of this there has been an increase in homelessness as well. Awareness needs to be raised especially in our own communities. More programs need to be created that build mental health outreach to stop drug abuse, suicide, etc... This could result in a healthier society/ community.
