Similar to getting a prescription, this petition is To make it mandatory, that for every GUN SALE sale in the State of California has to be accompanied by a doctors note, Stating that her/his patient is competent, and is NOT suffering from any Mental Health issues, which could impact safe gun ownership. Also making it mandatory for a yearly mental health checkup

The Doctor would have to be licensed in the state of California and be in good standings.

This petition would virtually eliminate mass shootings that are done because of mental health and/or nervous breakdowns, because every gun owner would have to be scanned by a medical professional yearly.

I am tired of going into a store, and doing a visual where all the nearest exits are, just in case we have another gun rampage. Once we get the necessary signatures, this will be delivered to the California Governor.
