As you are all aware, COVID-19 has been rising very high in numbers. The amount of students out of school due to COVID-19 is insane. All students are not receiving the correct amount of help they need to achieve the school year due to the teachers not being able help every and each student and especially the ones who are online. Mendota Township High School along with the other school in Mendota IL, should go remote learning for at least TWO weeks meanwhile the number of COVID-19 cases go down. I believe each and every student should be receiving the same amount of help and with going virtual, we believe it’ll help students not only get the same amount of help, but also reduce the number of cases of COVID-19 in the Mendota area. Other schools in IL have chosen to go E-Learning for at least two weeks. We believe this could help our students and also reduce the Covid-19 cases.
