Improper waste management and disposal have been a controversial issue since a long time ago. It affects the community's livelihood, also the health of the members of the community. Yet until now, it seems that this issue hadn't been addressed as effectively we can. There are still a ton of scraps and trash scattered on the road. Rivers within the city emit unpleasant odor due to the garbages which were just thrown onto those bodies of water. 

We need to take action as soon as possible in order to prevent it from worsening in the near future.

How should we start solving the problem at hand? 

• Start the change within the premises of your homes.

- Start by properly managing your waste at home. Provide garbage bins for biodegradable, non-biodegradable, toxic, and recyclable waste separately. 

• Proceed to bring change to the community.

- In order to properly address this issue, we need to broaden the scope the area of our proper waste management as this issue also concerns our community. We should volunteer to conduct a community service with the members of our family to lessen the wastes that were scattered and disposed carelessly. 

• Encourage your peers and other members of the community to participate and bring this change. 

- Our problem regarding proper waste management will not be thoroughly solved without the participation of every citizen. We shall encourage them to participate by educating them in regards to the importance of proper waste disposal and management to us, to our environment, and to our world. 

There is no problem or issue which do not have a solution. There will always be a way through every strife and we can bring change to our world by putting our heart for each of our will. This saying might be old but truth is what it holds, "The change is always in our hands"
