BCPS Board Trustee, Thomas Baird made racist remarks to a number of city officials in November of 2021. He chose not to resign, despite calls for his resignation. The scope of this petition is to unite against racism and oust Baird from his post. Bay City, its residents, and especially its children deserve better.

Impeachment of Baird would require over 7k signatures from members of the Bay City Public Schools District, although he was a write-in candidate, elected with just over 200 votes. Please sign this petition to begin the impeachment process.
