I live at Diggers Rest and I have a issue with council rates as Diggers Rest has minimum facilities as compare other suburbs of melton council and we paying so much rates which is not fare I know you propose 11 million on Diggers Rest but we cannot see any developments yet so it is not fare on us we pay this much rate without getting facilities like other suburbs
You can see the suburbs like Aintree which has much batter facilities and same rates here we don't even have secondary school and we highly reliable on Sunbury it seems like bit unfair and developer and council work contracted they doing worst Job I am not sure that's councils fault or their
Developer promised lots of think than he change his mind after he make money how come this people get approval for their projects?
If They proposed something on paper and after few year if they change it isn't it a fraud?
Also lots of councils don't charge municipal changes and some council charges only 50 to 60$
I don't understand how can we been so expensive

As everyone know we facing lockdown since last year lots business and individual effect by this lockdown it is really unfair for everyone of our community people to pay this rates if you want majority of the Diggers Rest community people are happy to sign for reducing rates
